Optimizing the dosing and trickling of nutrient media for thermophilic biomethanation in a biotrickling filter

Ex-situ biomethanation in a biotrickling filter is being developed as robust technology for the conversion of CO2 to CH4 using H2 generated from renewable power. The uses hydrogenotrophic methanogens biofilm catalyst and optimum supply nutrients imperative stable long-term operation. In this study, essential were highlighted along with systemic investigation nutrient methods. results showed that ammonium iron critical minimum required concentration 0.3 g/L 1.5 mg/L, respectively.
